As Michael laid helpless in his hospital bed, evil Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) tippy toed into the room in surgical scrubs and injected digitalis into his IV.

Cyrus removed his mask and intoned: “I know you’re in terrible pain, Michael, but your suffering will soon be over. You will soon be at peace. God will call you home.”

Those words were chilling but it got especially dark when he administered the drug and said “May your soul be surrounded by divine light.”

We have to ask, what are Cyrus’ motives? That scene made him look like an avenging angel, taking matters into his own hands, to relieve suffering.

But he also killed Dex Heller (Evan Hoffman) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Is he just a run of the mill serial killer?

We also saw Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) talk to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) outside Michael’s room. They bonded in their grief and it looks like the show is setting them up to deceive the town into thinking that Sasha and Michael’s baby is Jason’s.
