Apparently, the couple are “changing priorities” amid rift rumors as things seem to be getting worse for the couple and not better. 

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have only been married for three years but just like any other couple other, they’ve been dealing with their fair share of ups and downs. 

But a lot of people couldn’t help but wonder what was really going on behind closed doors when Gwen and Blake decided to celebrate New Year’s Eve separately last year. Blake took the state at a resort in Oklahoma while Gwen performed at the Venetian in Las Vegas. 

At the time, Gwen said that if her husband was going to be working that night, then she would be, too. Yet, some fans think there might be a reason why the couple decided to spend New Year’s Eve in two different time zones.

But there seems to be more going on than what Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are willing to reveal. 

What’s Next For Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton

One source close to the situation told Life & Style weekly, “They’ve been spending a lot of time away from each other the past several months. It’s been frustrating. Their relationship of late has been a lot of texting and talking on the phone. Gwen and Blake used to be inseparable, but that’s changed.”

And while the insider added that “everyone loves them together,” their family and friends are hoping that whatever Gwen and Blake are going through will get fixed, if not sooner than later. “So hopefully this is just a temporary thing,” the insider continued.

So far both Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that they will.
