But what a lot of fans and critics can’t help but wonder is why Heidi would film herself during the entire ordeal. She can be seen crying with her son in one hand and her phone in the other.

It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some have even commented with, “There is something very strange about people whose instinct is to film themselves suffering. At no point of any emotional breakdown I’ve had did I think, ‘Man. I’d better live stream this….’”

Another critic wrote, “It just seems so not natural. I was ready to put boots on and drive to North Carolina but I have 4 kids. No part of me felt what I felt for North Carolina compared to this specific video. Her eyes peek through her fingers to check reactions and I see no tears.”
