The actor, who is best known for his role as Drew Quartermaine on the hit ABC soap, shared with his social media followers that he lost his home in the devastating wildfires that have hit Los Angeles County. As of press time, the catastrophic fires have not been containted.

Cameron shared a photo of the wreckage and in his caption wrote, “We are safe. But this is what’s left of our beautiful home.”

The actor also said, “Our home where our kids were raised and where they wanted to raise their own someday.”

“Thanks to all who reached out and checked in. Can’t respond to all so wanted to give an update here.”

Cameron also added, “Sending so many prayers to everyone being affected by these fires.”

Of course, it goes without saying that the internet did share their thoughts and prayers for Cameron and his family during this very devastating time in their lives.

Some have even commented with, “That’s so sad. I’m happy he and his family is safe now but to lose the home in that matter has to be devastating. I’m sorry to hear that. My heart goes out to all who are being affected by these wildfires.”

Another General Hospital fan wrote, “I wondered how many of them might be affected. So sorry to hear this. I hope everyone has gotten out safely, family, pets, and all.”

“How awful. Thankfully they’re all safe. Didn’t realize he was separated.”
