When it comes to the daytime television world, if there’s anything that we’ve learned over the years, it’s that you can never say never. And that’s apparently the case with General Hospital star Kelly Monaco.
As many of our readers know, Kelly Monaco was pushed out of the show last summer. To this day, no one knows why Kelly, who was best known for her role as Sam McCall on the hit ABC soap, was fired. After all, she did spend more than two decades in Port Charles.
But if there’s anything that fans have learned about the daytime television world, it’s that you can never say never. Plus, it’s not like you are ever really dead in soaps, and even if that last nail is hammered into your coffin.
With that said, there has been some speculation on social media that suggests Kelly Monaco might come back, but as Sam McCall’s twin sister. And if that happens, there’s no doubt that fans will go wild.
Because let’s face it, Sam McCall was a legacy character and Kelly Monaco deserves a better send-off than what she got from the writers of the show. Plus, she might be dead or she might still be alive as far as we know.
Not only that, but it doesn’t look like she’s got any projects lined up for her at the moment. By now a lot of people figured that another daytime television soap would have picked her up by now, but that simply hasn’t happened.
Now, whether or not Kelly Monaco would be willing to return to her daytime television roots despite being fired from General Hospital remains to be seen. So far the actress has not made any comments about the matter.

Stupid idea. it never works. Look at when they killed off Emily. The fans were outraged. So they brought her back as a look alike and tried to interject her into PC... That idea sunk like a lead baloon..... The same will happen with KN. She was Sam. Period. Not a twin sister..
And why would KM even consider returning after the way they disrespected and humiliated her. She's got to know they'll do the same thing without giving it a minute's thought if they feel justified .

I think Kelly should consider trying to go to Hallmark. She would be great for them, and actually, so would Chad Duell. They could make a movie together for them, although I do hope Chad comes back to GH eventually!
Writers, Please just rewrite Sam’s story where it was just a nightmare or something. Just put Sam back!
