As many royal fans already know, the Duchess of Sussex has a new cooking show called ‘With Love, Meghan’ coming out on Netflix. However, there are some people out there who think that she might have copied her idea from another royal Brit.

Eagle-eyed social media users have noticed that Meghan’s cook show is a direct copy and paste of the first Black woman of British nobility, Emma, the Marchioness of Bath. 

One person even did a side by side comparison on Instagram and captioned their post with, “Here’s some clips of Emma, marchioness of Bath vs M on Netflix. Emma cooks for visitors to Longleat Estate and I think it’s so sweet.”

“It’s unlike someone who’s trying to showcase extreme glamour / the wealthy housewife life.”

It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “I don’t think it’s fair to call it a copy. It’s a pale (pathetic) attempt at copying. Seems to me from this shirt video that the Marchioness puts effort in including history, tradition and community. Didn’t see any of that in the Duchess of Montecito’s trailer.”

“I’m pretty certain that Meghan copied her wedding gown as well. Emma is so beautiful.”

Another critic wrote, “See, I would watch this before I would watch Meghan Markle’s show because this one is obvious.”

“Emma, the Marchioness of Bath is noble, we know she’s privileged, she knows it too but she pushes a sense of inclusion with us regular folks, it’s clear in this clip.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Meghan’s show is nothing but showing off her lavish life and her celebrity friends, cooking expensive food in her expensive kitchen…basically shoving the ungrateful materialistic life she gained by setting the ‘royal princess world’ she was fortunate to become a part of on fire.”

“She wanted the life but not the duties, she wanted the prince but not the family. She’s reveling on the life she has now and has no care for the people she hurt to get there.”
