According to the latest reports, a lot of people are once again scratching their heads after Hilaria forgot the English word for onions while cooking a traditional Spanish dish.

This, despite the fact that she’s done this before when she forgot the word for cucumber and was caught in a fake Spanish accent debacle. 

“I learned this from when I was a kid, don’t look it up online because you’ll learn something different,” Baldwin said in what appeared another fake accent while she was cooking with a friend.

If that weren’t enough, Hilaria struggled to remember the word “onions” while telling the camera, “My husband hates…cebollas [onions in Spanish].”

Luckily, Hilaria’s friend helped her with her English word. Talk about saving the day, right? 

It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some have even commented with, “She was born and raised in the United States to English-speaking parents — but doesn’t know the word for onion?”

“Again: her high school classmates confirmed that her name is Hilary and she was a standard american from boston growing up without the ‘latina’ accent… this is performance art.”

Another critic wrote, “Is she still believing that she’s from Spain even though she’s Hillary from Boston?”

“This was totally scripted, and they succeeded in getting everyone to talk about them.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I forget words all the time, let alone in another language. We ought not make fun of this, she’s tried her best and done a fine job.”
