This time around, the Duchess of Sussex is being criticized by Meghan McCain for apparently not thinking about low-income neighborhoods and how she could have used her show to give people ideas on how to make dinner despite the high price of groceries these days.

Meghan took to her X account to write, “I was originally a Meghan Markle supporter, I thought she was cool, stylish and refreshing.”

“Like the rest of the world my opinion changed when she disrespected the royal family. Now that she wants to be American again instead of British aristocracy what she seems to forget is Americans want real, raw, uncensored.”

“All of this even in the trailer is highly curated, produced and out of touch.”

She continued, “There have been 2 terror attacks in 2 days, major wars raging and Americans can’t pay for groceries. We are a country in rage, uncertainty and intensity right now.”

What’s Next For The Duchess Of Sussex?

“This concept is ill advised. I would have told her to do a show helping bring fresh food to food deserts in low income neighborhoods. Do something to help people instead of your ego.”

“This is why the world doesn’t like you, nothing else. Just completely and utterly tone deaf to the moment.”

Of course, the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “But also, it’s 2024, not 2014. People don’t want more curated lifestyle influencers. Even Martha Stewart pivoted her brand. People crave authenticity. They no longer idolize perfectly crafted celebrities anymore.”

Another critic wrote, “She has more than 1 million Instagram followers in 24 hours. There’s an appetite for her content, which is a form of escapism. The Martha Stewart dream every woman secretly wants—to raise kids, make money building a home and baking treats. Though agree timing is bad.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Celebrating herself. Does she have any other skills? The next thing she will be marketing will be her divorce. Then her recovery. Then her next relationship. It will never end. She is her own grift. Shameless.”
