That is when Chanel overheard Johnny and Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) talking about what they did.

On Thursday, January 2, Chanel will confront Johnny. Even though Johnny might try to lie, Chanel has already heard too much.

After Johny finally confesses, will he be able to earn forgiveness? It’s not just the cheating but Johnny kept lying about it for weeks. So, that adds an extra layer of betrayal to the marriage.

On Thursday, January 2, Philip and Stephanie will both feel like making confessions. Stephanie and Philip had a sweet smooch at the New Year’s Eve party.

While the kiss was going on, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) couldn’t stop staring. Stephanie seemed to be all in on the kiss, but Philip kept one eye open to gloat at Alex. 

EJ DiMera’s Charm

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, January 2 reveal that Belle wanted to give EJ a professional courtesy. Belle took the district attorney position, and wanted EJ to hear it from her first. Then, Chanel convinced Belle to stay for the New Year’s Eve party.

While EJ is furious with Belle right now, there is also a history there. While a preview clip shows Belle dancing with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu), there will be a passionate smooch with EJ at some point. Could EJ complicate Belle’s new position?
