According to reports, Wildenstein passed away in her sleep from a pulmonary embolism in her Paris hotel. She was best known for her extravagant plastic surgery to resemble a cat.
What’s more, she famously received $2.5 billion in a divorce settlement from her ex husband, art dealer Alec Wildenstein.
It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “I feel so sorry for her but her legacy is a warning to all gold diggers out there that money does not equal happiness. You can have just enough money to get by and still be happy because peace of mind is something you can never purchase from any luxury store.”
Another fan wrote, “It’s so sad. Imagine being that rich and look like that. Cosmetic surgery needs to be looked at. What kind of doctor would continue to operate on her?”

“That’s how NOT to use your money. You don’t blow billions on plastic surgery to look like a cat! Invest, or at least buy something that lasts longer than your next face lift! She could’ve built an empire instead of just her cheekbones. Threw away a fortune on vanity, what a damn waste. Remember, money’s meant to make more money, not just fund your crazy cat lady dreams.”
