The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Thursday, January 2 teases that Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and Ian Ward (Ray Wise) are intent on taking their malicious mischief to the very edge of sanity.
But before we talk about the upcoming events, let’s give a rundown of what you can expect on Tuesday, December 31 and Wednesday, January 1. On Tuesday the show plays an encore episode while on New Year’s Day the sudser has a repeat episode on the air.
Then, on Thursday, January 2 the show is back to regularly scheduled programming to kick off 2025. On Monday, December 30, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) arrived to Society and found her wife Tessa Porter outside having some sort of emergency.
A kindly old man was helping her and then Mariah’s world blew up.
That’s because she saw the man’s face and it belonged to Ian Ward (Ray Wise). Mariah was horrified, and then more so when she put two and two together and realized that Tessa was in danger.
Trusting Tessa had befriended Ian, who was using the name Warren Masters, a man she believed to be a friendly prison chaplain.
Ian put something in Tessa’s drink which caused her to break down. Will Ian cop to what he did or try to play off the whole thing as a strange coincidence?
However he spins the tale, Mariah will be spooked to see the cult guru back in town and with his paws on Tessa.
Meanwhile, Jordan has her paws on Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) who she kidnapped after chloroforming her.
What will Jordan do next? She could take Sharon to a hideout, or she could start her frame up job on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Elsewhere, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) finds a scary sign. Sharon was supposed to be at the Society New Year’s Eve party and when he sees her car but not his ex, he worries and rightfully so since there is a murderer on the loose in GC.
We know that Nick will move heaven and earth to save Sharon but he gets some key help–Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) brings his talents to play in the dramarama.
Explosive The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Sharon’s life is in danger and you can bet that Victor will play dirty to even the score with Jordan!
