Let’s just say that this past year has been quite the struggle for King Charles. Not only was he diagnosed with cancer, but so was his daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton.

In fact, there were so many ups and downs for the King of England that we’ve got a few of them listed for you here.

It’s also been said that Meghan Markle is making life difficult for King Charles.

Apparently, King Charles only has one wish and that wish is to see his two American grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, for Christmas this year. With his cancer diagnosis, he just doesn’t know how much time he’s got left and that’s why he wants to make the most out of the holiday season.

But the Duchess of Sussex has made it clear that it’s not going to happen. There’s no way that she will compromise her peace for the royal family now or ever again for that matter.

However, as many royal fans on both sides of the aisle are aware of by now, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not invited to the royal family’s Christmas celebrations in Sandringham this year.

Royal Family News: What’s Next For King Charles?

That’s mostly because King Charles is worried about the unwarranted atmosphere that they might bring along with them.

If all of that weren’t enough, according to Christan Andersen in his new book, The King: The Life of Charles III, the King of England still thinks about the decision that was made to have both then-teenaged Prince William and Prince Harry walk behind their mother Princess Diana’s casket during her funeral in front of an audience of a billion people from all over the world. 

If Charles could turn back time, he would opt not to do it.
