Kamala Harris’s daughter Ella Emhoff was spotted shaking before bursting in tears while on the red carpet. According to reports, Ella was spotted getting extremely emotional at the New York CFDA fashion awards. And of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
That said though, Ella Emhoff was given preference over Melania Trump in the fashion world.
Even though Melania Trump was a former model before she met Donald Trump, the fashion world shunned her when her husband became president of the United States.
Unlike Michelle Obama before her and Jill Biden after her, or even Kamala Harris, Melania wasn’t given an opportunity to pose for Vogue magazine. In fact, she was completely ignored by the fashion elite altogether just because of her husband.
If that all weren’t enough, Ella had to set the record straight about a rumor suggesting that she had a mental breakdown after it was announced that Donald Trump had won the presidency.
Clearly, that wasn’t the case as Ella herself had to take to her Instagram account to write: “There’s a rumor about me having a mental breakdown and getting checked into a hospital. Not true.”
“Also f–k you if you’re out there spreading that. There’s nothing wrong with showing emotion and crying. Anyone who says there is probably needs a good cry,” the young woman continued.
“I’ve struggled with my mental health my whole life, and I’m not ashamed of it.”
