While there’s no doubt that Donald Trump is more popular than he ever was before, with many Hollywood stars even coming out of the woodwork to support him, his inauguration is going to be one that is going to be tightly secured.
It was earlier reported that a former Secret Service agent is warning that Donald Trump could be targeted before Inauguration Day—and that the Secret Service might not be able to stop it.
According to Richard Staropoli, the impending threat could be “of a much bigger magnitude” than the previous two assassination attempts.
On Fox News, the former Secret Service agent said that he is “not highly confident at all” that the Secret Service could keep Trump safe, adding, “The Secret Service that you see out there today is not the Secret Service of yesteryear.”
If that weren’t enough, Melania doesn’t want to attend her husband Donald Trump’s inauguration. And that’s not because she doesn’t love her husband or doesn’t want to support him.
Instead, it’s because she’s terrified for her family’s safety. After all, there’s already been two attempts at Donald Trump’s life. And seeing how his inauguration is going to be full of both his fans and critics, anything can certainly happen at anytime.
To make matters even worse, Kamala Harris feels too humiliated to attend Donald Trump’s as well. But as the outgoing vice president of the United States, she has to be there.
Now, as far as what stars are going to be performing at the ceremony remains to be seen.
So far Donald Trump has not made any comments about the matter.
