It seems as though the Duchess of Sussex might be more jealous than hurt when it comes to the Princess of Wales.
That’s because Kate Middleton was on the short list to receive the Person of the Year award from Time Magazine, which is an accolade that Meghan Markle can only dream of on her end.
One source even said, “Meghan would have been really jealous. She would have loved to have been nominated for Time Women of the Year.”
The insider even said that if Kate had won the award, it would have made Meghan feel very incompetent on her end.
Meanwhile, it seems as though Kate Middleton isn’t even giving Meghan Markle a second thought as she’s got other things that she’s worried about in her personal life.
It’s been said that the Princess of Wales has been left horrified over her entire cancer ordeal and is becoming a totally different person and princess.
She’s not fully recovered just yet but she’s also making the necessary steps to make sure that she never has to deal with what she has dealt with this past year.
One source close to the situation even told Radar Online, “You can’t go through something like that and come out the other side unchanged. She is a different person now and she is focused on herself and her family right now, rightly.”
And while Princess Kate is slowly but surely taking on her royal engagements and public appearances again, she’s not going to take on the same workload that she did before her cancer diagnosis. Instead, she’s going to take things very slow moving forward.
