According to Life & Style Weekly, both Cameron and Nicole realized that the only way to help get through their marital woes with their partners is through therapy. Cameron is married to Benji Madden while Nicole is married to Joel Madden.

It wasn’t easy at first, but it was a decision that seemed to have benefitted all parties for the better.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Cameron and Nicole agree that counseling saved each of their marriages. It’s what they rely on to keep their individual relationships healthy.”

Not only that, but even Joel Madden said that therapy had changed his life for the better. He said, “It was the best thing that ever happened to me.”

“Therapy is a big thing in our family, thank God. It’s what we depend on, so you have that commitment to work on it.”

Celeb News: What’s Next For Cameron Diaz?

“It’s like going into the gym and learning new moves, building on strength. We go to therapy — lots of therapy.”

That said, there’s also been a lot of speculation about whether or not Cameron is going to revive her career in Hollywood. So far it looks like that answer is a big fat no. 

Even though she’s been tempted to go back in front of the cameras, it looks like Cameron is enjoying her retirement quite well while also enjoying her family time, too.
