This is not the way that he had pictured it to be. There’s heavy speculation on social media that suggests Christmas with Meghan Markle might be making Prince Harry feel pretty depressed about his current situation.

That’s because he’s left behind everything that he’s ever known in his life and the holidays are making him miss it more each year. 

As many royal fans and critics already know by now, both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex pulled the plug on their working relationship with the royal family back in 2020.

Each year they were invited to spend the holidays with the royal family back in London, but they politely declined. Well, this was the first year that they weren’t invited at all, suggesting that King Charles might have shut the door on any possible reconciliation in the future.

For the Duke of Sussex, this feeling has to be devastating. He never pictured his life to be this way. Sure, not every holiday he had back in the UK was a perfect one but at least they had huge family gatherings.

It’s just not the same when it’s just him, Meghan, their two kids and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. Harry truly feels as though he’s missing out by not being with the royal family during Christmas and that’s probably what is making him feel depressed.

But at this point, there really isn’t much that he can do about it. That, or he would just have to leave his life in America behind, regardless of what Meghan has to say about it.

So far both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not made any comments about the matter although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space for more.
