She’s been there, done that and refuses to do it again. Of course, we are talking about Michelle Obama as there’s heavy speculation that suggests she is refusing to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration.
But then again, it’s not like she’s being forced to attend like the one she did back in 2017. Because her husband Barack Obama was the outgoing president, Michelle had no choice but to be there and greet the new incoming first lady, Donald’s wife, Michelle Obama.
This time around though Michelle knows that she has no reason to be there. Plus, she can’t imagine having to fake all the emotions a second time around.
As many fans and critics can’t help but remember, Michelle had a difficult time holding back her true feelings each and every time she had to stand next to Donald Trump. She just couldn’t believe at the time that he was becoming the new president of the United States.
And while this is going to be a very historic moment for the country, Michelle is okay with sitting this one out. Sure, she’s unhappy that Kamala Harris didn’t beat Donald Trump in the presidential election but she also knows that there isn’t much that she can do about it at this point.
She and her husband Barack Obama are just going to have to watch things unfold for the next four years and hope for the best. Not only that, but they are also going to help the Democratic party work on a strategy to ensure that they will win back the White House when the time comes.
So far Michelle Obama herself has made no comments about the matter just yet. It’s just pure speculation at this point. Watch this space for more.
