Is actor Eric Braeden thinking about retirement? That’s what a lot of Y&R fans can’t help but wonder. The actor, who is best known for his role as Victor Newman on the hit CBS soap, has been on the show for well over over 40 years!
And while there are a lot of people who would love to see Eric on The Young and the Restless for as long as possible, there’s a very good chance that he’s going to hang up his boots and retire sooner rather than later.
After all, the actor has gone through a lot in recent years, including his own battle with cancer. And while there’s no doubt that Eric is in great shape for his age (as he often shows off his work out routines on social media), he can’t go on forever. Or can he?
Eric has said on social media, including X, that retirement is certainly not on his mind. He absolutely loves going to work every day and wants to stay with the soap for as long as possible.
But at the same time, every storyline has to have an ending and especially in the daytime television world, right?
