While there’s no doubt that every soap loves a great Christmas miracle, this was a real life one for Matthew, who is best known for his role as Thomas Forrester on the hit CBS soap. That’s because he and his wife Brytnee welcomed their first child. How exciting!
According to reports, Brytnee took to her Instagram account to share a new family photo of her alongside Matthew and their new bundle of joy. She captioned her post with, “Merry Christmas from The Atkinsons!”
How sweet! Brytnee didn’t share any additional details about the baby but instead just shared a Christmas tree emoji over the little baby’s face.
Clearly, Brytnee and Matthew are not going to be the kind of celebrity parents who are going to be sharing their child’s milestones on social media. Instead, they are going to do everything they can to protect the tot and their family’s privacy.
So far Matthew Atkinson himself has not made any comments about his new role in his life, but we are sure that he’s going to have something to say sooner or later. After all, he does look incredibly happy to be a new father. We are sure that his alter-ego Thomas Forrester has to be very happy for him, too.
And not only that, but Brytnee also looks absolutely amazing after having just given birth. We wish them all the best in their new journey as parents and can’t wait to see more family photos in the near future. Watch this space.
