Despite Trina’s earlier support for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) following Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) tragic passing, and her assertion that she has moved on, a poignant anniversary lingers.
It recently marked the anniversary of the enchanting weekend Trina and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) shared in New York City, and now the first anniversary of his death approaches.
It’s likely that Trina can’t shake the reminder that nearly a year has passed, yet there’s still no sign of his body.
In the meantime, Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) finds himself at Bobbie’s, where an unexpected encounter leaves him visibly irritated-he questions, “Why is this of interest to you?”
Brennan is keen to keep his dealings under wraps, especially with prying eyes in Port Charles. He’s just learned that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) is heading to Prague, Czechoslovakia, to retrieve Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).
To keep tabs on Lulu, he dispatched his assistant Colette Moreau (Mercedes Lopez Renard) to follow her trail, seemingly in an effort to track down Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
It seems Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) might be after some intel—he narrowly missed Lulu at the airport and could very well be on the next flight out himself!
Martin bursts in with exhilarating news for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis). Laura’s expression turns to one of disbelief as Martin enthusiastically exclaims, “Trust me, you’ll want to hear the rest!”
He was the go-to source for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) when they sought information on Valentin.
Thanks to him, they discovered that Valentin had conducted a transaction at a Swiss bank, but sadly, he didn’t stay there for long. Could Martin have fresh intel on the whereabouts of Valentin, Charlotte, and soon Lulu when her flight arrives?
Elsewhere, Jason and Josslyn are deep in conversation; since Dex’s passing, Josslyn has been relying heavily on Jason for support. He assures her that if there’s anything that can help her find closure, he’s willing to do whatever it takes. Could Josslyn be asking Jason to reach out to Dex’s family to inform them of his death, or perhaps to assist with funeral plans?
Josslyn’s quest for closure clearly revolves around Dex and the tragedy of his loss. Will Jason be able to provide her with the solace she seeks?
Diane has reached out to Michael, expressing her concerns that Willow might be preparing for a confrontation. However, it’s actually her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who is readying for a fight on Willow’s behalf, having initiated the separation agreement.
Michael is anxious about the possibility of a custody dispute over the children, even with his mother Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) trying to make a preemptive move.
The situation is serious, especially with the kids caught in the middle, although Willow doesn’t wish to take them away from Michael. But the potential for her to accompany Drew to Washington DC looms large, which could lead to just that outcome.
