It looks like there’s some trouble brewing already. There’s heavy speculation that suggests Donald Trump might not even make his own inauguration, let alone any of the afterparties and there’s a good reason for it. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Per the latest reports, mainstream media outlet The Hill is calling for an insurrection, demanding that Congress use the 14th Amendment to block Donald Trump from taking office in January.
Apparently, they claim Congress has the authority to override the Electoral College and “restore power to democracy.” This is incorrect.
If that weren’t enough, Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin has previously stated that Congress would use the 14th Amendment to stop Trump on January 6, even if it led to “civil war conditions.”
It goes without saying that the internet certainly does have a lot to say about the matter.
Some fans and critics on both sides of the aisle even commented with, “Section 3 of the 14th Amendment specifically bars anyone who, having previously taken an oath to support the Constitution, engages in insurrection or rebellion against it from holding office.”
“Multiple lawsuits have been filed across different states challenging Trump’s eligibility under this provision, with some courts finding that he did engage in insurrection, although these rulings have been paused or appealed.”
Another critic wrote, “We aren’t a democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic. If people knew what that meant, they would not be so easy to influence. I grew up learning that the Founding Fathers feared and despised democracy because they knew it always descended into mob violence.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Can’t they be arrested for infighting an insurrection, whether it happens or not? Of course, I was taught a person could be arrested for threatening the life of the POTUS.”
Needless to say, this is all speculation at this point. So far nothing has been confirmed. Also, Donald Trump himself has made no comments about the matter just yet.

The January six comittee members are being threatened by trump right now! Why? Because he is guilty as hell of an insurrection that almost worked! They have so much proof that he helped organize and paid for travel and hotel rooms for the innsurectionists! Had hats and shirts and even a hangman's pole made for Pence! And of course him standing there smiling and watching TV while the thugs destroyed our capitol and threatened our senators and other legislators! Including Pence! Yes! He is guilty. Hell, even the people who voted for him know he was guilty but defend him saying the election was stolen so they had the right to storm the capitol. There is so much evidence against him he should have been convicted and stopped from running for PREZ again by law!
