Could this be the end of an era? Actually, make that the end of the Sussex era. There’s a new report that suggests everything is slowly but surely crashing down for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and in the wrong way possible.
That’s because they can easily experience financial ruin if Netflix decides to pull the plug on their working relationship with them. It’s been reported that the online streamer is none too pleased with the fact that Harry and Meghan have failed to deliver on their promise for Netflix as each one of their projects in recent years have turned out to be complete duds.
Seeing how Netflix is the last major name that has a contract with Harry and Meghan, should they decide not to renew, this might spell out a complete disaster for the Sussexes.
A source close to the situation even put it this way, “Their separation of work is being tried out, and it worked perfectly well in the sense there have been no glitches. What they need is her cookery series for Netflix.”
“What is absolutely pivotal is the renewal of the contract with Netflix next year, so precisely what happens in the coming months financially is vital. They lost Spotify a while ago, and it doesn’t seem there is anything substantial financially that we know of that is coming up.”
The insider also said, “When American Riviera Orchard and Meghan’s cookery show is launched, that will certainly give her a good deal more than her occasional appearance. They have a profile at a certain level. Harry and Meghan were in Times100 in 2020, so they have a brand, they have got their admirers, and they have got a profile.”
“They’ve changed their tactic, and we will see what it adds up to in the next year.”
So far both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space for more.
