Apparently, a lot of fans and critics agree that Beyoncé’s NFL halftime performance had the vibe of an all-white Diddy party. And that’s clearly not the vibe that she’s going for these days. Some people think it’s one of the worst glaring mistakes of her career.
The show follows allegations in a lawsuit claiming her husband, Jay-Z, participated with Diddy in the r*pe of a 13-year-old girl. According to a lawsuit, the girl went to lie down in bed after she felt woozy after being handed a drink at the party.
Diddy eventually entered the room with two celebrities, one a man (Jay Z) and one a woman. Jay Z held the girl down and r*ped her while Combs and “Celebrity B,” a female, watched.
It’s also been noted that despite the controversy, the NFL maintains its partnership with both Jay-Z and Beyoncé.
Earlier in the month, it was suggested that Beyonce might be looking to pull the plug on her marriage to Jay-Z. But at the same time, a lot of fans have also been defending the rapper.
Many have taken to social media to weigh in on the matter. Some even wrote, “I love Jay z’s music. I do not care for his reaction to all this. First he sounded like an arrogant bully. Now he’s sounding like a menace. He does have a history of questionable dealing with much younger and underage girls.”
Another critic wrote, “I’m of two minds, if someone falsely accused me of rape, I’d come out swinging. But, if I was guilty and didn’t want to pay the full settlement demand, I would also come out swinging to reduce the price. Who knows which this is.”
