It was reported that former President Bill Clinton was admitted to a hospital Monday afternoon for testing and observation after developing a fever. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

“President Clinton was admitted to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital this afternoon for testing and observation after developing a fever. He remains in good spirits and deeply appreciates the excellent care he is receiving,” a spokesperson said.

It’s been noted that ex-president told NBC News the situation is “not urgent” and that he is “awake and alert.”

But this isn’t the first time that he’s landed in the hospital in recent years. Clinton was also hospitalized in 2021 after a urinary tract infection spread to his bloodstream and was released about a week after he checked in for treatment.

Clinton served as from January 1993 until January 2001, addressed the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this summer, and campaigned for Kamala Harris.

Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “Former President Bill Clinton has been hospitalized due to a fever. Wishing him a speedy recovery—we’ll need him around when Kash Patel releases the Epstein list.”

Another critic wrote, “Deep state op. Bill knows too much and where all the bodies are buried. Won’t be around much longer.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I wish no ill will on President Clinton, I am a solid Trump supporter, and I may not have been kind to him when he was President, but in retrospect, the country was fine under his leadership and his legacy will certainly reflect that. Get well President Clinton.”
