Additionally, Kyle must look to the future, which includes Claire. While Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) may play a renewed role in his romantic life someday, possibly sooner than he anticipates, Claire’s feelings for him are pure and should be embraced.

She is a positive light that can lead him away from self-pity and self-sabotage.
