It’s a job that he’s been waiting his entire life for, but no one ever said that it was going to be an easy one. Of course, we are talking about King Charles as he is being forced to make some difficult decisions. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to the latest reports, the King of England is struggling immensely with his hopes for the monarchy.
That’s because he’s beginning to realize this his initial plan for having a slim-downed monarchy just isn’t working in the way that he had hoped.
This year, for example, has been one of the worst. It’s not enough that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not around, but both King Charles and Kate Middleton have been diagnosed with cancer.
As a result, there has been almost no one available to take on the multiple royal engagements and public appearances that the royals do each day with the exception of Prince William.
And now King Charles feels like he needs to do something about it or perhaps try to reign Prince Harry back into the royal fold.
One source put it this way, “I am sure that somebody talks to Harry, it just may not be his father. And in a way, that’s probably because his father just doesn’t want to get involved.”
“He hasn’t got time; he hasn’t got the inclination, and he probably hasn’t got the energy for what would be a potentially difficult conversation. I think that 2024 has been an incredibly difficult year for the monarchy.”
The insider added, “We’ve got [Princess] Catherine announcing that she’s going to have an abdominal operation. Then you’ve got the king saying he’s having a prostate operation. Then you’ve got the king saying he [has] cancer. Then you’ve got Catherine saying she [has] cancer. And then you’ve got all the other problems coming just from life itself.”
“I think it’s been very hard, because there [hasn’t] been that many people as backup.’
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
