It looks like someone might be planning quite the shocking move behind the scenes. There’s heavy speculation suggesting Prince William might be the king of England. Keep reading below for everyting you need to know.
That’s because there’s a report that says King Charles might be looking to step down sooner than expected. Sources even say that King Charles is considering making his historic announcement about his abdication.
And when that happens, everything is going to change for Prince William and Kate Middleton as they know it.
There are even sources close to the situation that say the Prince and Princess of Wales are talking about it even more and more and have revealed that succession plans are in place and “it is something the institution is always mindful of.”
The insider also added, “Life-threatening illnesses bring a reconsideration of priorities. She and William have always made it clear that family is the most important thing.”
“There’s a sense of calm before the storm. They are next in line for the biggest job of their lives, and of course, Kate’s health has taken priority, but it’s also allowed everyone to take a step back and figure out what’s important right now.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet but it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
Either way, the moment that King Charles decides to step down from the throne there’s no doubt that the news is going to be seismic for everyone. Now, whether or not Prince William will be able to handle all of the pressure remains to be seen. Anything can still happen between now and then.
