That’s mostly because there’s a new report that says Kate Middleton has been left horrified over her entire cancer ordeal and is becoming a totally different person and princess. 

She’s not fully recovered just yet but she’s also making the necessary steps to make sure that she never has to deal with what she has dealt with this past year.

One source close to the situation even told Radar Online, “You can’t go through something like that and come out the other side unchanged. She is a different person now and she is focused on herself and her family right now, rightly.”

And while Princess Kate is slowly but surely taking on her royal engagements and public appearances again, she’s not going to take on the same workload that she did before her cancer diagnosis. Instead, she’s going to take things very slow moving forward.

Royal Family News: What’s Next For The Princess Of Wales?

That’s because she would rather spend whatever time she has left with her family, which includes her husband Prince William and their three children. Simply put, Kate Middleton doesn’t want to live with any regrets.

She said, “She is a member of the royal family but also a wife, mother and daughter. Don’t expect too much — she’s a person going through something horrific.”

“They can’t raise people’s expectations with lots of engagements only for her to face a setback, not feel well, and things are canceled. The strategy of an unexpected visit gives her flexibility. She doesn’t have the pressure of feeling she has to turn up.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
