In a bizarre video, Madonna mocks Catholics and the Pope as she shows off a picture of her dressed as a nun in lingerie lighting a cigarette for a nun.

She can even be heard saying, “Early Christmas present for the Pope.”

If that weren’t enough, earlier in the week, Madonna posted AI photos of herself with the Pope that looked like they were a little too close to comfort and of course, the internet was up in arms over it.

One photo  depicted the pope, 87, hugging Madonna from the side with a huge smile across his face. The second image showed Madonna in a lacy corset with Pope Francis going for a kiss.

Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “These pics are disrespectful but I’m not surprised by Madonna, I’ve thought she needs help for some time. Sinead O’Connor did this so much better by RIPPING up the pope’s picture.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I think one of the things Madonna has always feared the most is being culturally irrelevant. So she does stuff like this to stir the pot to get her name back in the news. She is 66 years old and probably terrified of being labeled a has been.”

Celeb News: What’s Next For Madonna?

“She’s exhausting. Just doing it to get a rise out of people because I honestly feel like no one pays attention to her anymore unless she’s doing something ridiculous. Poor Madonna.”

So far Madonna herself has made no comments about the matter just yet.
