This shouldn’t surprise anyone who has been paying attention. Michelle Obama, along with her husband Barack Obama, got the presidential treatment during a very rare night out. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
It seems like the Obamas still have moves like they are part of the POTUS pack even though it’s almost been a decade since they were last in the White House.
According to the latest reports, Barack Obama treated his wife Michelle to a simple dinner date at their favorite Hollywood hot spot. However, they also received a lot of protection from the Secret Service.
The couple were at Mother Wolfe on Sunday. One person even shouted in their direction, “Will you save TikTok,” referencing Donald Trump’s plans to shut down the social media app once and for all.
And while there was some speculation suggesting the Obamas would keep a low profile following the presidential election, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Earlier in the year, there were quite a few people in the Democratic party that were hoping to see Michelle run against Donald Trump in the presidential election. But that clearly didn’t happen.
Michelle made it clear that she didn’t want to run for the highest office of the land. She’s been there, done that and certainly didn’t want to go back simply because she dealt with all of the stress when her husband, Barack Obama, was president for two terms.
Kamala Harris ended up replacing Joe Biden but unfortunately she just didn’t have enough substance or support to become the next president or to help keep the Democrats in power.
So far Michelle Obama herself has not made any additional comments about the matter just yet, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
