It looks like he’s going to have to watch his back once again. There’s a new report that suggests Donald Trump might be the target on inauguration day. In other words, there might be a third assassination attempt on the president-elect. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
According to the latest reports, a former Secret Service agent is warning that Donald Trump could be targeted before Inauguration Day—and that the Secret Service might not be able to stop it.
According to Richard Staropoli, the impending threat could be “of a much bigger magnitude” than the previous two assassination attempts.
On Fox News, the former Secret Service agent said that he is “not highly confident at all” that the Secret Service could keep Trump safe, adding, “The Secret Service that you see out there today is not the Secret Service of yesteryear.”
“It [future threat] is not going to be some 20-year-old kid on the roof of a building that’s allowed to get within 100 yards,” Staropoli warned.
“It’s going to be something of a much bigger magnitude, and I don’t think the Secret Service is anywhere equipped to handle that situation.”
As many critics can recall, Donald Trump was rushed off stage during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania after loud bangs were heard over the summer. Unfortunately, there was a second attempt on Trump’s life near his home in West Palm Beach a few weeks after that, too.
So far Donald Trump himself has not made any comments about the matter although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. We will definitely update you with all of the latest details once they come in. Watch this space for more.
