The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been branded ‘bad planners’ as their new docuseries about the sport of polo has been panned and ridiculed by just about everyone.

Royalist Richard Fitwilliams says one of the reasons why the docuseries has failed so badly is because they really didn’t do any research on the sport. 

Sure, Prince Harry has been playing for years, but the royal expert thinks he and Meghan could have done a better job of researching the sport and its history. Clearly, that didn’t happen.

He even put it this way, “ I’m angry that I’ve had to spend so much time watching this non-event. Tina Brown said the Sussexes were bad planners. Where is the appeal for this 5-parter on Polo, an elitist sport?”

“They must have known few would watch. It’s really dull if you aren’t into the game.”

What’s Next For The Duke And Duchess Of Sussex?

But, producer Miloš Balać  had a different take on everything. He told the New York Post in an interview, “Both Prince Harry and Meghan were just amazing collaborators from the start.”

“They have so much knowledge about the sport, but also an understanding that we’re trying to bring new people into this world. I think the collective intention was definitely, definitely to grow the audience of polo.”

“I think the difference in approach was that Harry, you know, is really seeing it as ‘look at how incredible these athletes are. Look how incredible these animals are’ which Meghan sees and says the same. But I think for her, it’s also like, ‘Look at how incredible this community is.’”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
