Just because they are connected by blood apparently doesn’t mean much to them. There’s a new report that says Prince Harry didn’t get invited to this year’s royal Christmas and there seems to be a good reason for it, too. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Here’s Why Prince Harry Didn’t Get Invited To This Year’s Royal Christmas

One royal reporter says King Charles isn’t “sufficiently” close enough to Prince Harry to send a Christmas invitation. 

While everyone knows that it’s been a minute since they’ve both sat down and spoken to one another, no one knew that relations between them was really this bad.

Royalist Richard Eden from the Daily Mail even put it this way, “Relations between Harry and his family are not sufficiently close for an invitation to be sent. It’s very sad that things are that bad. We know that Harry wants to mend fences, but there is an awfully long way to go.”

In other words, there are going to be about 45 royal family members all in one room with the exception of Prince Harry, his wife Meghan Markle and their two kids.

Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “The way the British press make the royal family look like a third rate clown circus. Or should I say, pull the curtain back on a petty, uncaring, malicious family?”

Another critic wrote, “Every Christmas is last Christmas (Doctor Who). No one knows what is going to happen. These embiggening stories are really belittling and not knowing the difference makes Charles and Willy look foolish.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Harry and Meghan’s Christmas sounds much more relaxed and normal than a royal Christmas. I know which I would prefer. Who wants to spends Christmas Day with over 40 people in a formal setting?”

What’s Next For The Duke of Sussex?

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
