Something just isn’t adding up here. There are a lot of people on both sides of the aisle that couldn’t help but notice that Ella Emhoff was given preference over Melania Trump in the fashion world. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Even though Melania Trump was a former model before she met Donald Trump, the fashion world shunned her when her husband became president of the United States.
Unlike Michelle Obama before her and Jill Biden after her, or even Kamala Harris, Melania wasn’t given an opportunity to pose for Vogue magazine. In fact, she was completely ignored by the fashion elite altogether just because of her husband.
Yet Kamala Harris’s step daughter Ella Emhoff, who has no experience whatsoever, was made a model almost instantly the moment she was given the spotlight back in 2021. She was even given an opportunity to become the face of Coach.
For a lot of people, they just can’t wrap their head around this. Some have even taken to social media to comment on the matter with, “They never give Melania proper recognition for being an actual model who is always dressed classy and spectacularly.”
“Jill Biden and Kamala Harris got Vogue covers. But a literal supermodel didn’t.”
Another critic wrote, “She’s spectacular. I love that our first lady is gracious and gorgeous. She’s also kind and dedicates her time to being a good mother and children’s causes. She’s bigger and more relevant than @voguemagazine will ever be. She’s a first lady to be proud of.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I’ve missed Melania SO MUCH! I’m just a regular guy who, by definition, knows next to nothing about fashion, but in my view Melania Trump FAR outclasses Jackie Kennedy. Melania is easily the most beautiful…and nicest…First Lady in my lifetime & probably all of U.S. history.”
