Could Nick be on the verge of proposing that someone else might have taken out Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) while Sharon was in a blackout? If that’s the case, Phyllis might view Nick’s efforts to save his beloved damsel in distress as a bit excessive, and will continue to try to discourage him.
Nevertheless, Nick has noticed that Sharon is struggling to recall the events surrounding Heather’s disappearance, and he becomes more and more suspicious, things just don’t add up. With Sharon’s medication changes and other hints emerging, Nick might start to suspect that someone is framing her.
Another scandal could emerge from Phyllis’s recollections of the night of her crash, and she could even have some scandalous flashbacks, and may try to repress them.
Although she remembers an unfamiliar truck that wasn’t Sharon’s, Phyllis has been reluctant to absolve Sharon for running her off the road-simply because she’s Phyllis, and that’s what Phyllis does.
However, as Phyllis’s memories begin to resurface, this could change; is it possible that she might suddenly recall seeing Jordan (Colleen Zenk) behind the wheel? Even if she only remembers Jordan in disguise, it could serve as a vital clue—especially since Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) has spotted a strangely familiar woman lurking around GC.
Ultimately, Phyllis may piece together more of the puzzle and confess what she remembers down the line.
If Phyllis manages to exonerate Sharon, it could become the biggest scandal of the century, and she won’t want it known! Ian Ward (Ray Wise) is also set to stir the pot once everyone learns about his return to Genoa City; his exposure will strike fear in many.
Expect a wave of suspicion aimed at Ian, which could lead to the unveiling of his secretive alliance with Jordan.
