The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack Gloats, Summer Sends Mixed Messages, Victor Taunts Diane

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, December 6 tease that it’s a fiery day in wintry Genoa City, Wisconsin.

The Abbott and Newman families are front and center with plenty of November Sweeps action reverberating over into December.

For starters, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) scheme to stick it to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) over his failed bid to depress them with a ransacked Glissade.

Jack secretly bought the dirt-cheap Glissade divisions and Diane has a new, viable project.

Jack and Diane are also happy because in the end they got their adult boy, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), away from Victor’s vendetta against them. Kyle is back at Jabot and trying to forgive his parents for having his best interests at heart.

Diane and Jack gloat to Victor but he turns the tables saying that Diane ruined her relationship with Kyle by abandoning him, faking her death, and firing him. Hard to argue with that.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) also meddles in the latest corporate dramarama. She doesn’t trust Jack’s motives and wants peace between him and Victor. She thinks that Jack’s latest moves will keep the feud alive.

Meanwhile, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) isn’t sure how to react to seeing Kyle and the former nanny, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) together, again.

The first time she appeared ruffled but may try to be nonchalant this time.

To be fair, Summer is worried about her mom Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) who was just in a major car accident.

It may be that she is distracted enough that she appears bothered by the sight of Kyle and Claire having fun while she’s full of anxiety.

Still, Summer has not been ok in the past with her cousin and her ex moving past a professional relationship. Will she do something to rock their romance boat? Definitely maybe!
