So, is this just part of her view? Maybe, maybe not. There’s a new report that says Whoopi Goldberg just made a bizarre statement about Hunter Biden and Donald Trump. This comes after President Joe Biden decided to pardon his son. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
During the latest episode of The View, Whoopi Goldberg says what Hunter Biden did is okay because he was addicted to drugs, unlike Trump who is not a drug addict.
If that weren’t enough, Goldberg said people need to stop accusing Biden of lying when he said he would not be pardoning his son.
The former Hollywood actress put it this way, “It’s a precedent for all of us to open our eyes because we’ve elected someone who is in a similar situation, who didn’t have a drug problem, who knew what he was doing.”
“So I think for many, many reasons, this is very different than any other situation that we have ever dealt with.”
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “So Biden wasn’t lying because his son’s was on drugs? I could get that Hunter want of sound mind for chemical reasons, but that does not explain why Joe lied to us?”
“If you ever want to get away with a crime, just tell them you are a drug addict.”
Another critic wrote, “Joe Biden is a rich, old, corrupt white man. And The View never stops defending him. Just goes to show that race, sex, and class hustling is really about politics, nothing else. It’s always all about politics.”
“This show could easily be an SNL skit. It’s that absurd. It was just a matter of time after the pardon that people like Whoopi would start making excuses for Joe Biden.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Whoopi Goldberg is the last person anyone should take a single piece of advice from. Scary to think some actually do.”
