She says it how she sees it. And when she says it, she certainly means it. Hollywood actress Sharon Stone says Americans elected Donald Trump because they are dumb and don’t travel enough. Sharon Stone Says Americans Are Ignorant And Arrogant

The actress made her comments at the Torino Film Festival in Turin, Italy this week. If that weren’t enough, Stone appeared to compare Trump to Italian dictator Benito Mussolini.

Sharon said, “My country is in the midst of adolescence. Adolescence is very arrogant. Adolescence thinks it knows everything.”

“Adolescence is naive and ignorant and arrogant. And we are in our ignorant, arrogant adolescence.”

“We haven’t seen this before in our country. So Americans who don’t travel, who 80% don’t have a passport, who are uneducated, are in their extraordinary naivete.”

It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some commented with, “Imagine thinking your out of touch opinion holds any weight to people who have been suffering and hurting financially for the last 4 years?”

Did Sharon Stone Go Too Far With Her Comments?

“At the rate these clowns are going, they’re going to hand us the 2026 Midterms and a 2028 JD Vance presidency.”

Another critic wrote, “Hollywood knows nothing of the struggle that average Americans are going through, and why we voted for Trump. Actually Sharon, washed up irrelevant movie actresses are arrogant.”

And then there was this comment as well: “She is addressing the audience as if they were around to witness the Roman Empire. Most Americans don’t have the means to travel because of inflation and the economy over the last four years.”
