It’s all part of a long-standing tradition when one first lay invites the incoming first lady to show the world that there will be a peaceful transition of power. While Melania has decided not to go, her husband Donald Trump did accept Joe Biden’s invite to meet.
Some have even commented with, “The absolute grace the media gives Trump and Melania is astounding. Anyone else would be dragged to filth for doing the same.”
A lot of people have also pointed out that both Michelle and Jill were heavily invested in the presidential campaign. Jill, of course, wanted to keep her husband Joe Biden in the campaign for a second term while Michelle hit the road to help support Kamala Harris when she became the nominee.
For Melania Trump, this just isn’t the way she operates. She has no interest in getting into her husband’s business, especially when it comes to the way he’s running the country.
If that weren’t enough, a lot of people couldn’t help but notice Melania Trump’s very bizarre behavior on Election Day.
Melania insisted on wearing her very dark sunglasses, even when she was indoors. She even wore her sunglasses while she and her husband Donald Trump were casting their votes in West Palm Beach, Florida.
And while Melania perhaps just didn’t want to show people that she was nervous, others couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow over her decision to wear her sunglasses, and even when her husband was speaking to the press.
