General Hospital Spoilers: Did Brad Kill Sam to Set the Stage for Lucas to Lean on Him?

General Hospital spoilers gossip Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) may have killed Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). It’s slowly becoming clear that someone did, and now all eyes are going to be distracted from the real killer as they weigh heavily upon Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) — who should have had oversight on every medication given to Sam during her hospital stay.

How then did Sam end up poisoned by a lethal level of Digitalis if no doctor ever ordered it and it never went through Elizabeth’s hands? Could Brad have been the culprit, and if so, why would he want to kill his ex-husband’s sister?

Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is probably nowhere close to figuring this out, but he’s definitely alarmed.

Lucas was relieved to hear from Co-Chief of Staff Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) that he is not responsible for Sam’s death. With no evidence of surgical error, Lucas was left wondering what on Earth could have killed his sister.

Poisoning is certainly something that never crossed his mind, nor that Elizabeth may have lapsed in her duties as Head Nurse. Did she?

It’s going to be just as hard for anyone who cares about and knows Elizabeth to believe that, but people are grieving and they want answers for the very real toxicology report they can’t deny.

GH Spoilers Gush Elizabeth is in the Hot Seat

Elizabeth knows that Portia has to follow protocol and investigate what may have gone down on her watch as Head Nurse. Her immediate confusion cannot be taken at face value any more than Lucas’ was.

Now, she’ll be in a similar position that he was just relieved from — wondering if there is some way that this could pan out as being her fault, and trying to figure out how she’ll live with herself if it is.

It’s going to be hard to prove that someone did this on purpose without Elizabeth’s knowledge, but it’s unlikely the hospital will find any evidence that she cosigned it. Does that mean she will look like the guilty party who is hiding something?

General Hospital Spoilers — Brad Never Did Think Things Through

Brad never did care who his shenanigans hurt — even if it targeted people he loved. Is he brazen enough to have seen an in with Lucas and ramped things up to take it?

Lucas came back to Port Charles adamant that he would have nothing to do with his ex. But as soon as the going got tough, he let him in just a smidge.

Was that enough for Brad to consider creating a well of grief for Lucas to fall into just so he could set himself up to be there when he needs help climbing back up?
