The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that after years of heartache and letdown, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will finally get the true love she’s been waiting for – and it sounds like all this will go down in the weeks ahead!

Y&R Spoilers: Executive Producer Josh Griffith Offers Clues

Y&R spoilers indicate that Lily’s true love will happen a lot sooner than fans realize. Executive Producer Josh Griffith spoke to Soap Opera Digest (SOD) recently, offering fans a sneak-peek on what’s to come in the land of Genoa City for the winter and new year.

One tidbit he did provide was that Lily was going to find true love soon; however, he didn’t offer much more than that.

Y&R Spoilers: New Character Soon To Be Introduced

Could Lily’s true love be Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) half-brother? Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) entered the GC picture in October, asking for Nate’s help to find her son ‘Damien’, who was fathered by Nate’s late dad, Nate Hastings Sr. (Nathan Purdee).

Griffith states during the SOD winter preview that Nate’s half-brother is going to bring an interesting dynamic to the canvas, as they’ll meet with Damien having no clue that Nate’s his sibling or that Nate Sr. was his real father. It also looks like Damien’s arrival will happen very soon.

When asked if this new character is handsome, Griffith states, “I can guarantee you that the brother is very handsome — and there’s a double handsome whammy twist coming your way.”

‘Double handsome whammy twist’, huh? Could Damien become Lily’s new love interest? After all, while Lily and Nate are cousins, through his mom, Olivia Winters (Tonya Williams), she’d have no blood relation to his half-brother.

If sparks fly, it would be okay – but the question is, will these two sizzle on screen?

Then again, this new true love could be someone already in GC. Fans have longed to see Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Lily come together. While he does have his hands full helping Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) right now, this doesn’t mean he may not have time for a romance.
