The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: What’s Next For Steffy Forrester?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that she knows exactly what she’s doing.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who is best known for her role as Steffy Forrester on the hit CBS soap, asked if Ridge’s support meant anything to her after she fired Hope.

After all, she knew Hope’s mother Brooke Logan would be quick to get into this mess, which would leave Ridge in between a rock and a hard place.

JMW put it this way, “Steffy was so angry and I think Ridge got that. He felt she was warranted in her decision and it did make Steffy proud that she was backed up by her co-CEO regardless of his personal feelings for Hope’s mother.”

As far as what Ridge’s support to Steffy really means to her, JMW says that it’s beyond what her character could imagine.

She said, “More than anything. Ridge’s support put Steffy and Ridge squarely where they need to be, in charge of Forrester Creations without interference and without Hope trying to get between Finn and Steffy.”

And seeing how there’s a very good chance that Steffy firing Hope might really cause trouble for Ridge and Brooke and their future, JMW says that her character does feel a little bit remorseful, but still thinks she made the right decision.

The actress said, “She feels bad that her dad is going through it, but not enough to take any of it back. She’s proud of Ridge for doing what she thinks is right, regardless of the fallout.”

“I’d be lying if I said Steffy didn’t think about that during the aftermath.”
