General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, November 19 reveal fond farewells, family supported and finally waking up! Port Charles bids Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) a fond farewell, her family is supported, and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) is finally waking up!
At the church, the pastor delivers a heartfelt eulogy for Sam through prayer. “Guide us in honoring Samantha by embracing a life filled with purpose and hope; we entrust her spirit to you, eagerly anticipating the day we will reunite.”
The atmosphere is heavy with sorrow as Sam’s closest friends and family gather, their faces reflecting deep grief.
Among the mourners are Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), while Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) is visibly distraught in the background. Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) sit together, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) add to the poignant scene.
Support from family is crucial for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), and Emily “Scout” Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) during this time.
Michael and Willow Corinthos (Chad Duell, Katelyn MacMullen) are present, along with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison). Additionally, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is surrounded by her family, including Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kirsten Vaganos), with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) offering his support.
However, it’s important to note the absence of Sam’s brother, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), and her aunt Ava Jerome (Maura West). Danny’s actions have pushed Lucas away, and Ava feels out of place in this gathering.
While at the cemetery, Lucas and Ava cross paths, and Ava takes the opportunity to explain to her blood nephew why she isn’t attending the funeral at the church.
She inquires about his absence, unaware that Lucas is already consumed by guilt over Sam’s death, as he was her surgeon. Despite Maxie’s efforts to uplift him and dispel his feelings of self-blame, the situation escalates when Danny arrives with flowers and a drawing from Scout to honor Sam’s memory.
In a fit of anger, Danny lashes out at Lucas, accusing him of failing to save his mother, prompting Lucas to leave in distress. Meanwhile, Ava is likely there to pay tribute to her own lost daughter, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin).
Lulu lies alone in her hospital room at GH, resting on the bed while still connected to heart monitors and IVs, though thankfully no longer reliant on a ventilator.
She appears serene, but upcoming revelations indicate that she is on the brink of awakening from a four-year-long coma. When she opens her eyes, it seems she will do so in solitude, likely filled with questions about her surroundings and the events that led her here.
After sustaining injuries from the explosion at the Floating Rib, she had dismissed her persistent headaches, ultimately collapsing in Dante’s arms in the hospital chapel.
These four years have been a long journey, but for Lulu, it will feel as if she has emerged from a haunting dream—she’ll truly feel like Rip Van Winkle!
