He sure didn’t expect it to go this way at all. There’s a new report that suggests Prince William just got bullied by the public.
But fortunately for the future king of England, he didn’t let the moment ruin his day. Or at least, he pretended not to let it ruin his day. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
There’s a new short clip of the Prince of Wales exiting a building. As he is waving to the crowd, one critic is hurling insults in his direction. However, Prince William doesn’t even pay attention and keeps on walking towards his car like nothing ever happened.
Clearly, there are a lot of anti-monarchists who believe that the monarchy should be abolished altogether. And seeing how Prince William is the future king of England, he is certainly going to get the brunt of all the criticism.
Of course, the internet did have a lot to say about the matter. Some fans and critics on both sides of the aisle even commented with, “I’ll never understand why people line up just to get a glimpse of someone who was born in a bubble of privilege and entitlement.”
“I don’t remember William ever smiling or waving at people before Harry and Meghan became popular. Ever.”
Another critic wrote, “Incoherent screaming from one crazy lady is what he deserves? Ok then. Amazing man who will be King. He does not coward to anyone or pressured into others problems.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I couldn’t quite understand what she was saying, but he clearly did, and he didn’t want any part of it. He ran toward the car to get away.”
“I don’t recall William ever smiling or waving much before Harry and Meghan got big either. He doesn’t look like a very happy man.”
So far Prince William himself has not made any comments about the matter although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
