General Hospital Spoilers: Lulu Wakes Up Alone During Sam’s Funeral

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) funeral will be attended by most of Port Charles. Sam was loved by almost everyone in town, and her death will touch everyone she loved.

As viewers know, Sam died after donating a portion of her liver to be given to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havans). Lulu has been in a coma for almost exactly four years now and because of the medication she’s been receiving, her own liver began to fail.

Sam seemed to come through the transplant surgery with flying colors. She even woke up in recovery long enough to accept Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zomprogna) proposal.

After Dante left, Sam has a nice visit with her mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). But during their visit, Sam apparently had a heart attack and even though the doctors did as much as they could to save her, they weren’t able to bring Sam back. An autopsy has been performed but so far, there’s not been

GH Spoilers – Lulu Spencer is moving to Turning Woods

Meanwhile, Lulu has recovered from her part of the surgery as well and her body seems to be accepting Sam’s liver. But that doesn’t change the fact that she’s still comatose.

If Lulu doesn’t wake up beforehand, she will soon be transferred to Turning Woods, a long-term care facility. Lulu hasn’t shown any signs of waking up but all of that is about to change.

Unfortunately, Lulu’s will likely wake up just as the whole town is gathered to say goodbye to Sam.

It’s also worth noting that not all that long ago, Lulu’s ventilator mysteriously powered down. There’s a chance that could happen again, especially if it was done intentionally and not just an equipment failure. If it happens again, there might now be anyone around who can save Lulu in time, but it’s also possible that it might trigger something inside Lulu, and she will wake up instead. Either way, once her friends and family realize she’s awake, they will see it as a miracle.
