As many DOOL fans are already aware of, JJ certainly didn’t hold back when he confronted the woman who has been pretending to be his sister Abigail this entire time. 

Casey told Soap Opera Digest in a new interview that the dialogue was something he’s never had before as his lines lasted for about five pages straight.

The actor put it this way, “I had a moment where I lay into her for half an episode, basically telling her how evil she is and how sick she is to do something like that and take advantage of a family at that particular time, because they’re raw and vulnerable and kind of confused.”

“But they let her [in]. When it comes to heart with the Hortons, that’s what really leads the way ,in my opinion. So when you stab that and poke at it, that’s a really big issue. That’s a big problem.”

Casey also added that it certainly takes some time to remember so many lines, especially when many soap actors are used to dialogue that is continuously back and forth.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: What’s Next For JJ?

He said, “So I just had to sit with it for quite some time. It’s not like you would do [if you were working] on a movie, because you’ve got a lot more time there. But this, I probably worked on for a little over a week, just going over it and over again in my head.”

“It all made sense. Sometimes things don’t click in your head as fast as you want them to, or maybe as fast as other scenes. But this one, to me, made a lot of sense. And then we shot it pretty quickly.”

“I believe we got through that set [of scenes] in 30, 40 minutes. I was surprised at how smoothly it came [to me], because it’s been some time since I was on that set delivering a bunch of dialogue. But it came pretty quickly.”
