Clearly, he’s going to say what he wants to say and not worry about the implications anymore.
Of course, we are talking about Sylvester Stallone as apparently, he really doesn’t care what Hollywood thinks about him anymore.
That’s because he’s one of the few stars out there who have been brave enough to endorse and get close to the newly President-Elect Donald Trump.
In fact, the actor even introduced Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago, saying Trump is like the “second George Washington.”
The actor put it this way, “We are in the presence of a really mythical character. I love mythology.”
“This individual does not exist on this planet. Nobody in the world could have pulled off what he pulled off.“
“When George Washington defended his country, he had no idea that he was going to change the world. ’cause without him, you could imagine what the world would look like.”
Stallone also said, “Guess what? We got the second George Washington.”
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even commented with, “Rocky introducing President Trump as the second coming of George Washington. That’s pretty awesome and we’re here to witness it.”
“He is right. It is absolutely incredible what he has done. This country hasn’t been this energized since 9/11.”
Another critic wrote, “Stallone lives an incredible life and has the best family a man could possibly ask for. Competent, respected, came from the bottom, amazing father, husband, no surprise his creeds align with DJTs, you can really tell he’s been on the train!”
“This made me cry with tears of joy. I remember binge watching all of the Rocky movies when I was going through chemotherapy. This is just so awesome to see. Trump’s been through hell and we need to support him. ELATED that Sly is a Trump/truth supporter!!!!!!!!!”
And then there was this comment as well: “Dude, I had no idea Stallone was a Trump supporter. I know he called out the snowflakes a few years ago, but this is fantastic. A good spirit. Stallone has always had heart, and you can see it in his films.”
