General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Confided in Jason, But Will He Tell Carly of Her Son’s Marriage Woes?

General Hospital Spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) came close to opening up to his dad, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), this week about what’s going on inside his marriage to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), but he just couldn’t bring himself to divulge the dirty details.

Somehow, revealing everything to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) feels easier, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to walk away with any clarity. Jason is rarely the type to hand out advice, but tends to be a good sounding board when someone needs to get something off of their chest.

Moreover, Michael can trust that Jason isn’t going to repeat anything he tells him — and that even goes as far as his mom, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). But Carly isn’t going to make it easy on Jason when she can tell he’s hiding something.

Michael knows he can trust that Jason won’t tell anyone about his marital troubles. He doesn’t need to meet with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) for a counseling session, but he may be thinking like a Quartermaine and ready to be sure his assets are in place should his wife decide that she wants a divorce. Why wouldn’t he worry about that?

After all, she just told him it was a one-time kiss when it wasn’t. Then she told him she wanted to make their marriage work and she slept with Drew the next day.

Not only can he not trust his wife to be faithful, but she doesn’t seem to be telling the truth. We can expect that Jason isn’t going to have any kind of miraculous answer for him to get him through this. That’s not his style.

GH Spoilers Hint Sonny Would’ve Told Her Everything

Of course, Michael was just talking with his dad about this issue, but he didn’t tell him the gory details. Sonny doesn’t know that Michael also cheated.

He doesn’t know that Willow slept with Drew. If he did, we can bet that he would pull Michael’s mom into it in a heartbeat.

Carly has always been the one to provide a more supportive role in Michael’s life, emotionally. She is also the one who tends to tell him the truth and hold him accountable when he needs it — according to her, that is.

General Hospital Spoilers — Will This Cause a Rift?

It’s not Michael’s silence that will bother Carly. It’s Jason’s cosigning of it. If her son wasn’t ready to tell her the truth about his marriage to Willow, so be it.

She can handle that, even though she is always hopeful that he’ll come to her when he needs support. But in this case, she will struggle with the fact that Jason isn’t telling her what he knows about her own child.

That’s going to cause her undue worry, even though Michael is clearly an adult who can take care of himself.
