Kamala Harris’s one and only step daughter had to set the record straight about a rumor suggesting that she had a mental breakdown after it was announced that Donald Trump had won the presidency. 

Clearly, that wasn’t the case as Ella herself had to take to her Instagram account to write: “There’s a rumor about me having a mental breakdown and getting checked into a hospital. Not true.”

“Also f–k you if you’re out there spreading that. There’s nothing wrong with showing emotion and crying. Anyone who says there is probably needs a good cry,” the young woman continued.

“I’ve struggled with my mental health my whole life, and I’m not ashamed of it.”

There’s heavy speculation that suggests the only people that would have suggested that Ella had a mental breakdown were the MAGA kind. 

That’s because they weren’t a fan of her in the first place and were perhaps waiting to see what kind of reaction she would have to seeing her stepmother lose one of the most important presidential races in the country’s history.

What’s Next For Kamala Harris And Her Family?

Ella herself as not made any further comments about the matter although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. However, she did note that the only thing she has been doing is playing fetch with her dog Jerry while also working on her mental health. 

Now, as far as what’s next for Ella Emhoff, Kamala Harris and their family remains to be seen. But for now it looks like the entire family is just going to retreat out of the spotlight for some time to come. We will definitely update you with all of the latest details once they come in.
